What this Trial Is About
This trial studies normal-BMI women aged 19 to 35 years to see if an 8-week non-diet nutrition education program can improve eating behaviors, body image, and psychological well-being. It compares women receiving this program with those who do not get any intervention. The goal is to evaluate changes in these areas without focusing on weight loss. The study involves two groups: one group participates in weekly 60-minute online sessions for 8 weeks that teach non-diet principles like intuitive eating, body acceptance, and health-promoting nutrition. The other group does not receive any intervention but completes the same assessments for comparison. The education program includes interactive discussions and home activities. Participants will complete questionnaires before and after the 8-week period covering eating behavior, food choices, intuitive eating, body appreciation, body dissatisfaction, well-being, and self-esteem. They will also keep a 3-day food diary. Researchers will measure these outcomes to see if the program leads to improvements. The study will monitor participants throughout the 8 weeks and assess dietary intake as a secondary outcome.
