Researchers want to see if risk factors found in Western countries apply to nurses living in a rapidly changing Chinese city. The study is sponsored by The First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University.

Who may be eligible for this hypertension clinical trial?

Adults aged 20 years or older who are registered nurses working in public hospitals in Xiamen may be eligible. Participants must have worked there for at least one year and plan to stay in Xiamen for at least five years. Both men and women can participate. Please review eligibility criteria for more details.

Registered nurses of public hospitals in Xiamen, China
Aged 20 years or older
Working in the public hospitals for at least 1 year
Signed the informed consent and agreed to participate in the study
Planning to remain in Xiamen for at least 5 years

You will not qualify if you...

Unable to walk or move around independently
Receiving treatments that if stopped would cause immediate life-threatening risk, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy for cancer, or dialysis for renal failure
