Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patient has mild or moderate dementia
- Patient experiences pain on most days for at least 3 months that interferes with function
- Patient lives at home (not in an institution)
- Patient is age 50 or older
- Patient speaks English
- Caregiver provides at least 4 hours of care or assistance daily on average
- Caregiver is age 18 or older
- Caregiver speaks English
You will not qualify if you...
- Patient or caregiver lacks capacity for interview or cannot provide informed consent or assent
- Patient or caregiver has visual or hearing impairments or severe behavioral problems preventing participation
- Patient or caregiver is too ill to participate
