Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Ages 18 and older at time of diagnosis
- Diagnosed with stage II or III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
- Receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy or immunotherapy and surgery
- Able to follow directions and complete questionnaires in English or Spanish
- Agree to complete the PERCC exercise intervention
You will not qualify if you...
- Morbid obesity (BMI greater than 40 kg/m2) or anorexia (BMI less than 17.5 kg/m2)
- Physical exam abnormalities that contraindicate exercise participation
- Alcohol or drug abuse, or significant mental or emotional problems interfering with compliance
- Scheduled for single modality cancer treatment only, treatment starting within 2 weeks of pre-treatment clinic visit, or treatment already started
