Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older
- Clinical diagnosis of haemorrhagic or ischemic stroke confirmed by brain imaging
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) item 5-6 score of 1 or higher
- Stroke occurred 3 to 10 days before enrollment
You will not qualify if you...
- Transient ischaemic attack
- Premorbid Modified Rankin Scale score of 4 or higher
- Acute orthopedic complications
- Inability to provide informed consent
