Participants will undergo clinical and laboratory assessments at baseline, 2 weeks, 1 month, and 3 months after treatment, including blood tests to monitor liver function and safety. Adverse events will be recorded and classified using standard criteria. The study plans to include 150 patients and will analyze outcomes to determine optimal dosing and safety parameters for resin microspheres in radiation segmentectomy over approximately 3 months of follow-up.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients aged 18 years or older
  • Undergoing radioembolization as radiation segmentectomy for hepatocellular carcinoma or metastatic liver tumors
  • Having single or up to 3 tumors located in one or two neighboring liver segments
  • Tumor size less than 8 centimeters
  • Child Pugh Score less than B9
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Presence of major blood vessel invasion in the liver
  • Presence of extrahepatic disease
  • Diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma or mixed hepatocellular carcinoma-cholangiocarcinoma
  • Unwillingness to attend follow-up visits
