What this Trial Is About
This research aims to observe how well Guselkumab works after participants with moderate to severe psoriasis switch from Ustekinumab in routine clinical care. Psoriasis is a long-term skin disease that causes red, scaly, sometimes painful, and itchy patches on the skin. The study focuses on participants who are medically advised to switch treatment according to current psoriasis care guidelines. Participants with moderate-to-severe psoriasis who are already receiving Ustekinumab or its biosimilar and are recommended to switch to Guselkumab will be enrolled. No study drug will be provided directly instead, data will be collected from participants receiving routine clinical care with Guselkumab. The study will track participants over time as they switch treatments in their regular healthcare settings. During the study, information from routine clinical visits will be collected, including assessments of skin severity and quality of life at multiple time points up to 52 weeks after switching. Researchers will measure improvements in psoriasis severity using the Psoriasis Area Severity Index PASI and other skin assessments. They will also record demographic and clinical characteristics, treatment history, adverse events, and quality of life scores. This observational approach allows monitoring of real-world treatment outcomes over a year.
