You may qualify if you...
- Medically competent men and women
- Chronic myofascial trigger points in the upper trapezius for more than 6 months
- Presence of a tight band with a palpable nodule and distant pain when pressure is applied
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous neck or shoulder pathology such as fracture, surgery, inflammatory or infectious diseases
- Cervical disc pathology
- Systemic disorders
- Fibromyalgia
- Physical therapy treatment for neck or shoulder within the last 3 months
