This research aims to understand how patients use a mobile app designed to help them record their symptoms before visiting a doctor. The study focuses on evaluating anonymized data from this digital medical history tool, which is increasingly used in general practice to improve health services research. The goal is to identify how the app is used and find areas for further development by analyzing routine data collected anonymously. Patients use the app on tablets or other digital devices, where it guides them through structured questions tailored to their symptoms. The information collected is then uploaded to the electronic medical record, making it available to the treating doctor before and during the consultation. This study is observational and involves retrospective analysis of anonymized usage data from patients who have used the app in participating general practices. Participants' involvement includes their prior use of the app, with data covering up to 8 years to assess use patterns and data quality. Researchers will analyze anonymized routine data to gain insights into general practice consultations, morbidity, and complaint frequency. There is no active treatment or intervention, and no direct impact on participants during the study period, which starts in May 2025 and continues for several years.
