Phenylketonuria (PKU) is an inherited disorder that raises phenylalanine levels in the blood and is linked with metabolic complications such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Researchers are studying children with PKU and fatty liver disease to understand how a walking program might affect their liver health. This study is interventional and involves children aged 9 to 12 years who have PKU and fatty liver disease. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. Group I will take part in a daily online supervised walking program for eight weeks. Group II will be a waitlisted control group that does not perform the walking program during this period. The program is designed to evaluate the response of liver enzymes after the intervention. During the study, researchers will assess liver enzymes including alanine transaminase, aspartate transaminase, gamma-glutamyl transferase, and alkaline phosphatase, as well as triglycerides and body mass index after eight weeks. The study includes safety monitoring and data collection throughout the eight-week period. Total participation duration aligns with the length of the walking program and follow-up assessments.
