Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- BMI 30-40 kg/m2
- Excess skin (ptosis) greater than 3 cm
- Underwent gastric bypass surgery more than 2 years ago
- Stable weight for at least 6 months before surgery
- No smoking for at least 6 weeks prior to surgery
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to understand spoken and written Swedish
- American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification 3 or higher
- Neurological, orthopedic, or rheumatologic injury or illness affecting physical ability
- Known hernia before surgery requiring operation
- Severe mental illness
