Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged older than 18 years and younger than 85 years
- Primary gastric adenocarcinoma confirmed by preoperative pathology
- Cancer stage cT2-4aN0-3M0 based on preoperative evaluation
- Undergoing proximal gastrectomy with D2 lymphadenectomy plus complete mesogastric excision
- American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) class I, II, or III
- Provided written informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Negative preoperative biopsy
- Tumor stage too advanced or metastasis present (cT4b or M1)
- Body mass index greater than 30 kg/m2
- Prior neoadjuvant chemotherapy or radiotherapy
- Previous upper abdominal surgery
- Presence of other malignant diseases
- Patient refusal of operation
