Dental caries is a common oral health problem influenced by factors such as behavior, hygiene, diet, and socio-demographic aspects. This research aims to evaluate how widespread dental caries are among early middle-aged patients at the Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University, and to analyze related risk factors using the WHO Oral Health Questionnaire for Adults. Understanding these factors can help improve preventive strategies and oral health outcomes in this age group. The study focuses on patients aged 35 to 44 who attend the outpatient clinic at Cairo University. Researchers will collect data on dental caries prevalence, experience, and risk-related factors without administering any treatment, as this is an observational study. Participants will complete questionnaires and undergo dental assessments to provide detailed information about their oral health and related behaviors. Participants will be involved in assessments over one year, including oral examinations and completing questionnaires about their dental habits and risk factors. The main measurement is the prevalence of dental caries during this period, with additional evaluation of caries experience and related risks. This approach helps track oral health status and informs future prevention efforts. The study is open to cooperative Egyptian adults within the specified age range and includes monitoring throughout the year.
