This research aims to evaluate how digital parenting education affects mothers' knowledge and attitudes about their children's use of technology and their own social media addiction levels. Conducted as a randomized controlled trial, the study focuses on mothers of healthy preschool children aged 3 to 6 years registered at a family health center. The study seeks to assess the impact of educational sessions on digital parenting awareness and social media habits among these mothers. Participants are randomly assigned to either an experimental group receiving digital parenting education or a control group without intervention during the main study phase. The education consists of eight face-to-face sessions, each lasting 20 minutes, delivered twice a week. The training covers topics such as the role of digital parenting, effects of technology on parent-child relationships and child behavior, appropriate social media use, and managing risks and opportunities of digital tools. The control group completes pre- and post-test assessments and is offered a brief educational session and brochure after the study. Mothers complete questionnaires measuring their knowledge and attitudes about technology use and social media addiction before and after the intervention. Data collection includes sociodemographic information and specific scales on parental knowledge, attitudes, and social media addiction. The study uses statistical methods to compare changes between groups over 12 weeks. Participant involvement includes consent, pre-test, education sessions for the experimental group, post-test, and follow-up assessments. The total study duration spans from March to December 2025.
