Assessing the Effects of a 21-Day Comprehensive Spa Treatment on Female Infertility in Women Aged 20 to 40

What this Trial Is About

Researchers are evaluating the effects of a 21-day comprehensive spa treatment program on women aged 20 to 40 years diagnosed with infertility. This prospective, single-arm study takes place at a spa facility in Frantikovy Lzn, Czech Republic, aiming primarily to assess changes in hormonal profiles before and after the treatment. Secondary goals include examining body composition, stress levels, quality of life, and long-term reproductive outcomes. The treatment program includes natural therapies such as peloid therapy peat applications and vaginal tampons, mineral water procedures baths and vaginal irrigations, carbon dioxide therapy, physiotherapy including the Mojov method, exercise therapy, rehabilitation, dietotherapy, and lifestyle education. Each participant receives a personalized standard spa treatment as part of routine clinical care covered by health insurance. Assessments occur at the start no later than day 3 after admission and at the end of the 21-day treatment. Participants undergo physical exams, hormonal and ultrasound assessments, and complete questionnaires on stress, quality of life, and fertility-related quality of life at baseline and treatment end. Follow-up questionnaires on pregnancy occurrence, conception methods, and outcomes are collected at 6 and 12 months post-treatment. Data protection follows EU GDPR standards. The total participation duration covers the 21-day treatment and long-term follow-up for reproductive outcomes.
