Additional evaluations include muscle co-contraction, range of motion during gait, and toe clearance. The study includes supervised training sessions and detailed monitoring over six weeks to track progress and response to the training interventions.

- Inability to walk unassisted for 12 continuous minutes
- Cognitive impairment
- Falls in the prior 12 months
- Orthopedic concerns limiting force production
- Metal implants
- Medicine that can trigger side effects with TMS
