Study of Combination Therapy with Dlbs 3233 and Clomifen Citrate for Women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome to Improve Menstrual Cycles and Follicle Development

This research aims to evaluate the effect of combining dlbs 3233 therapy with clomifen citrate compared to clomifen citrate alone on insulin resistance measured by HOMA-IR, follicle maturation, and menstrual cycle control in women diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome PCOS. The study focuses on understanding how this combination therapy influences hormone levels and menstrual regulation, particularly in patients at Muhammadiyah Asri Medical Center Hospital. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the combination of dlbs 3233 and clomifen citrate or clomifen citrate alone. The study uses a quadruple masking design to compare the effectiveness of these treatments over a three-month period. The treatment effects will be monitored by measuring hormone levels such as serum AMH and evaluating follicle counts and sizes through ultrasound imaging. During the study, participants will have baseline assessments on the third day of their menstrual cycle, with follow-up evaluations at three months. These assessments include blood tests for HOMA-IR and AMH, as well as ultrasound examinations on day 12 of the menstrual cycle to monitor follicle development. Researchers will also track menstrual cycle regularity throughout the treatment period to measure the outcomes and safety of the therapies.
