Who may be eligible for this colorectal cancer clinical trial?

Adults aged 18 and older with newly diagnosed stage II or III colorectal cancer who have had surgery to remove the cancer may be eligible. Participants must have a supporter willing to view the educational website with them and be able to read English or Spanish. People with recurrent or metastatic cancer or those in certain other treatment trials are excluded. Please review eligibility criteria for more details.

Eligibility Criteria

You may qualify if you...

Newly diagnosed patients with surgically resected stage II or stage III colorectal cancer
Patient must have an adult supporter who helps with their colorectal cancer journey and might view the educational website with them
Patients must be registered within 90 to 180 days after surgery
Patients must be 18 years or older at registration
Patients must have a performance status of 0 to 2
Patients must be able to read English or Spanish
Patients must agree to complete questionnaires in English or Spanish at all scheduled times
Patients encouraged to provide an email or phone number for contact but may participate with alternate methods
Patients must not have recurrent or metastatic colorectal cancer
Patients must not be enrolled in another clinical trial involving imaging or lab monitoring during this trial
Supporters must be 18 years or older
Supporters must be able to read English or Spanish
Supporters must be identified by the patient as someone who may view the educational website with them
Both patient and supporter must provide informed consent according to guidelines

Patients with recurrent or metastatic (stage IV) colorectal cancer
Patients with prior or concurrent cancer that may interfere with study assessment
Patients planning to enroll or enrolled in investigational treatment trials involving imaging or laboratory monitoring
Patients unable to read English or Spanish
Patients without an adult supporter willing to view the website
Patients with performance status outside 0 to 2
