Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Meets current USPSTF guidelines for lung cancer screening (LCS)
- Has a 20 pack-year smoking history
- Currently smokes or quit smoking within the past 15 years
- Identifies as Black or African-American (including Afro-Latino)
- Willing to complete all navigation-related study activities
- Able to understand and willing to sign informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Known history of cancer (except squamous cell skin cancer) or coughing up blood in past 5 years
- Has undergone previous lung cancer screening
- Inability to speak English
- Medical, psychological, or social condition that may increase risk or limit adherence
