Investigation of the Relationship Between Kinesiophobia and Pain, Balance, Quality of Life and Mental Status in Hemodialysis Patients

This research aims to explore the relationship between kinesiophobia, pain, balance, physical performance, quality of life, and mental health in patients undergoing hemodialysis for end stage renal disease. The study focuses on patients who have been receiving hemodialysis for more than three months and are clinically stable. It is an observational study conducted by Kirsehir Ahi Evran Universitesi to better understand these factors in this patient population. Participants in this study are hemodialysis patients who meet the inclusion criteria and have volunteered to participate. There are no interventional treatments being tested; instead, the study observes and measures various health aspects related to their condition. Data collection occurs at one time point, Day 1, where researchers assess kinesiophobia, pain, balance, and physical performance. During the study, participants will undergo assessments to evaluate their quality of life, mental health status, and comorbidity levels alongside the primary measures. These evaluations help to provide a comprehensive understanding of the participants' overall well-being. The study involves a single visit for data collection, and the total duration of participation is limited to this assessment period.
