Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Children ages 0 to 17 years whose mothers enrolled in the Michigan Contraceptive Access, Research and Evaluation Study (M-CARES)
- Mothers aged 18 to 35 years
- Mothers biologically female, fecund, and at risk of pregnancy
- Mothers not pregnant at the time of enrollment
- Mothers not wishing to become pregnant in the 12 months after enrollment
- Mothers seeking care at Planned Parenthood of Michigan
- Mothers facing out-of-pocket costs for contraceptives at Planned Parenthood of Michigan
You will not qualify if you...
History of severe allergic reactions to study medication Currently pregnant or breastfeeding Recent participation in another clinical trial within the last 30 days Presence of uncontrolled medical conditions that could affect safety
