What this Trial Is About
Intracranial aneurysms are localized dilations of the cerebral arteries that may rupture and cause serious hemorrhagic stroke. This study aims to use Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRI, a routine and non-invasive method, to visually and quantitatively detect aneurysm growth and identify biomarkers that predict the risk of aneurysm development. Understanding these mechanisms can improve risk assessment and guide treatment decisions. Participants with unruptured and untreated cerebral aneurysms will undergo additional 4D Flow MRI or 4D Flow sequences for detailed imaging. The study focuses on patients coming for their first diagnostic evaluation or follow-up of these aneurysms. The goal is to improve understanding of aneurysm morphology and support better therapeutic planning, including the decision to use endovascular or surgical treatments. Participants will be monitored over a period of up to three years with MRI scans to observe changes in aneurysm shape. Researchers will assess the evolution of the aneurysms morphology and relevant biomarkers through imaging. This longitudinal monitoring will help evaluate aneurysm growth and associated risks, contributing to improved clinical management and treatment decisions.
