Researchers are collecting detailed information on patients with carcinoma of the Head and Neck through a multicenter registry in Italy. This observational study combines both retrospective and prospective data collection to better understand how this cancer is diagnosed and treated. The goal is to support further research and collaborations by creating a comprehensive database of patient and disease characteristics. Data is gathered by healthcare professionals at participating Italian sites, who manually enter patient information into an electronic case report form. The study uses a secure system called Vantage6 to analyze data while protecting patient privacy. This registry includes patients at any disease stage and will collect information from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up. Participants contribute by allowing their clinical data to be included in the registry. Researchers will review diagnostic methods, treatment patterns, disease stages, outcomes, healthcare use, and other factors over a five-year period. The study aims to provide benchmark values and identify prognostic factors, supporting both local and international observational studies on head and neck cancer.
