What this Trial Is About
Researchers are studying T1 mapping measurements of heart tissue using cardiac MRI to better understand how these values vary across different heart diseases. The goal is to establish reference ranges for T1 mapping in various myocardial conditions and to see if the simpler native T1 measurement can replace the more complex extracellular volume (ECV) measurement that requires contrast dye. This observational study includes patients with a wide range of heart diseases such as cardiomyopathies, myocarditis, myocardial infarction, and others, as well as healthy controls. Participants will undergo a standardized cardiac MRI scan with a gadolinium-based contrast agent to collect T1 mapping data. The study groups include healthy individuals and patients with various myocardial diseases like hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, dilated cardiomyopathy, arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, and more. The scans and clinical records will be analyzed to define disease-specific T1 mapping values and to validate the diagnostic accuracy of these measurements. During the study, participants will have cardiac MRI scans assessed up to five years to measure T1 mapping values. Researchers will collect and review imaging, clinical, and laboratory data to confirm diagnoses and ensure accurate analysis. The main outcome is to establish the range of T1 mapping values across diseases. The study involves no treatment interventions and focuses on imaging and data collection to improve heart disease diagnosis and profiling.

Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adult patients (18 years or older) with clinically diagnosed myocardial diseases based on current international guidelines
- Diagnosed with one or more of the following: cardiomyopathies (HCM, DCM, RCM, ACM), infiltrative disorders (cardiac amyloidosis, Fabry disease), inflammatory conditions (acute or chronic myocarditis), ischemic heart disease (acute or chronic myocardial infarction), valvular heart disease (aortic stenosis), arrhythmic conditions (atrial fibrillation), metabolic disorders (iron-overload), neoplastic conditions (cardiac tumors), congenital heart disease, or post-transplant evaluation
- Diagnosis confirmed by echocardiographic parameters, cardiac MRI findings, laboratory biomarkers, or histopathological confirmation when needed
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of multiple cardiomyopathy diseases or risk factors simultaneously
- Contraindications to cardiac MRI examination
- Poor image quality preventing accurate T1 mapping analysis
- Incomplete clinical data for confirming diagnosis
- Pregnancy or lactation
- Inability to provide informed consent
