Study to Assess Overall Functioning in Adults With Complex Health Issues Using Various Tests and Questionnaires

What this Trial Is About

This research aims to evaluate overall functioning in patients with complex health issues by investigating how different measurement tools relate to each other. The study focuses on understanding whether each outcome assesses the same aspects or different aspects of overall functioning. Participants are patients referred to the Department of Social Medicine and will be included until 100 patients have completed the key AMPS test. During the study, participants will undergo several assessments including the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills AMPS, Activities of Daily Living Questionnaire ADL-Q, and an interview-based ADL questionnaire ADL-I. Additionally, they will perform physical tests like the 30 seconds chair stand test, hand grip strength evaluation, and the Cumulated Ambulation Score. The Work Rehabilitation Questionnaire WORQ will also be completed during a specified timeframe around the baseline. Participants will be asked to complete these assessments as part of their clinic visits, with most tests done at baseline or within 21 days from baseline. Researchers will analyze correlations between these various instruments to understand their relationships and contributions to assessing overall functioning. The study is observational, with no intervention performed, and will continue until the target number of completed AMPS tests is reached.
