The database tracks outcomes following surgery, including the effects one year after the procedure as well as during long-term follow-ups at 3, 5, and 10 years. Throughout the study, participants health data will be collected and monitored over many years. Researchers will assess excess weight loss and glycemic control at various time points to evaluate surgery outcomes.
