Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Be in good health
- Have a body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 40 kg/m², inclusive
- Weigh at least 60 kg
You will not qualify if you...
- Have had previous surgical treatment for obesity or other gastrointestinal surgery that may cause malabsorption
- Have a history of bowel resection greater than 20 cm
- Have any malabsorption disorder or severe gastroparesis
- Have any gastrointestinal procedure for weight loss, including LAP-BAND®
- Have clinically significant gastrointestinal disorders such as peptic ulcers or severe gastroesophageal reflux disease
- Have an individual or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or multiple endocrine neoplasia 2
