Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age 50 years or older
  • Ability to provide written and oral informed consent
  • HbA1c level between 39 and 47 mmol/L (pre-diabetes range)
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Use of medicine that impacts blood glucose or glucose metabolism
  • Starting new medicine less than 3 months before joining the study
  • Planned changes to medicine during the study or medicine changes less than 3 months before joining
  • Abnormal screening blood test as determined by the principal investigator
  • HbA1c greater than 47 mmol/L
  • Allergy to paracetamol
  • Unable to speak or understand Danish
  • Following special diets
