Total Duration
This research aims to compare two exercise methods, High-Intensity Interval Training HIIT and Moderate-Intensity Continuous Training MICT, for adults aged 20 to 48 who have chronic non-specific low back pain lasting more than 12 weeks. The study focuses on evaluating which training method better reduces pain, improves disability, and enhances quality of life in these patients. Researchers also explore how participants initial health characteristics relate to their outcomes. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups for six weeks. One group will follow the HIIT program involving brisk walking and jogging with intervals of high and moderate intensity, three sessions per week lasting 25 minutes each. The other group will perform the MICT program with normal walking at a continuous moderate pace, five sessions per week lasting 46 minutes each. Both groups include warm-up, cool down, and stretching exercises, with heart rate and perceived exertion monitored. Throughout the study, participants will be assessed before and after the interventions. Researchers will measure pain levels using the Numeric Pain Rating Score and evaluate disability, quality of life, cardiovascular endurance, body composition, and fat distribution. Continuous monitoring during exercise sessions will ensure adherence and safety. Total participation lasts six weeks, ending with post-intervention evaluations.
