What this Trial Is About

Chronic non-specific low back pain CLBP is a significant health and socioeconomic issue that affects daily activities and quality of life. This study focuses on men aged 20 to 25 diagnosed with CLBP, investigating the connection between pain, disability, psychological status, body fatigue, core muscle endurance, and ankle muscle performance. The research aims to better understand how ankle muscle strength and endurance relate to CLBP symptoms and functional limitations. The study uses the Humac Isokinetic 2015 System 2 device to assess ankle joint muscle performance, including torque, endurance, joint position, and timing parameters in both dominant and non-dominant limbs. Fifty male patients will undergo a single assessment session involving isokinetic testing alongside evaluations of core muscle endurance, pain levels, disability status, body fatiguability, and lumbar spine angles. These assessments are correlated to explore relationships among these variables. Participants will take part in one baseline testing session where multiple evaluations are completed, including questionnaires on pain, disability, and fear of movement, physical endurance tests for core muscles, and measurement of lumbar spine angles. The primary outcomes measured are torque, endurance, position, and time parameters from ankle isokinetic testing. Secondary outcomes include pain intensity, functional disability, kinesiophobia, overall fatigue, and core endurance. The total participation involves this single detailed assessment to gather comprehensive data.
