Multicenter Data Collection and Simulated-Use Assessment for CHLOE AI Embryo Quality Model in Women with Fertility Disorders

Researchers are working to improve Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications used in fertility treatments by collecting and analyzing high-quality real clinical data. This study focuses on developing, verifying, and validating AI technology that evaluates embryo quality to support treatments like egg freezing and in vitro fertilization (IVF). It also aims to improve machine learning for AI software designed for developmental use. The study observes the use of AI systems that evaluate embryos inside a time-lapse incubator, which captures images of eggs and embryos during fertility treatments. In addition to data collection, the study includes simulated use assessments with professional users to ensure the AI application is easy and correct to use. Participants provide images and data from egg retrievals during fertility treatments using their own or donor eggs. The research team measures how well the AI predicts embryo utilization by analyzing an area under the curve (AUC) over 7 days. No experimental treatments are given, and participation involves data collection and professional user assessments to enhance the AI software's accuracy and usability.
