What this Trial Is About

Researchers are collecting data to develop and improve CHLOE, an AI-based application designed to assess the quality of oocytes (eggs) in fertility treatments. The study aims to support the entire development process of the CHLOE application, including training, verification, and validation of its machine learning algorithms. Additionally, the study evaluates the usability and accuracy of the CHLOE application in clinical settings to ensure it is both effective and user-friendly for embryologists. The main intervention involves using the CHLOE application to evaluate oocytes inside a time-lapse incubator, allowing continuous monitoring of egg development. The study further includes simulated use assessments where embryologists complete questionnaires on the ease and accuracy of using the CHLOE system. These activities help refine the AI model and improve the application’s performance over time. Participants will include women whose embryos or eggs are cultured in a time-lapse incubator connected to the CHLOE Embryo Viewer. The research team will measure how well the CHLOE AI predicts blastulation (the development stage of embryos) using statistical methods over 7 days. Throughout the study, data collection and simulated use feedback will be gathered to enhance the application. The total participation timeline aligns with the 7-day blastulation assessment period and ongoing data contributions to the AI model.
