What this Trial Is About

Researchers are studying the effect of chest physiotherapy education on mothers' knowledge, practice, and the clinical outcomes of infants diagnosed with bronchiolitis who are under 12 months old. The study aims to find out if chest physiotherapy improves infants' health and whether the educational program enhances mothers' understanding and application of the therapy. It is a randomized clinical trial comparing two groups over a period of 3 days. One group receives routine hospital care, while the other group receives the same routine care plus chest physiotherapy performed by the mothers after being educated on the technique. Chest physiotherapy in this study involves classical techniques applied by the mothers to their infants. The study evaluates these interventions over a short-term follow-up period of 3 days to observe any differences. Participants will be monitored for changes in clinical and physiological outcomes related to bronchiolitis from baseline. Researchers will also assess improvements in mothers' knowledge and practices regarding chest physiotherapy after three days. The study includes regular follow-ups and observations during the 3-day period to track these outcomes. The total participation duration aligns with this brief follow-up timeframe.
