Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Both genders
- Age 20-40 years
- Diagnosed cases of plantar fasciitis as defined by American Physical Therapy Association criteria
- Plantar medial heel pain noticeable with initial steps after inactivity and worsened by prolonged weight bearing
- Heel pain caused by recent increase in weight-bearing activity
- Pain with palpation of the proximal insertion of the plantar fascia
- Positive windlass test
- Negative tarsal tunnel tests
- Limited active and passive talocrural joint dorsiflexion range of motion
- Abnormal Foot Posture Index score
You will not qualify if you...
- Recent steroid injections
- History of ankle or foot surgery
- History of arthritis
- Radiculopathy
- Diabetic foot
