Study to Evaluate Supported Housing for Adults Ages 18 to 60 With Mental Disorders

Researchers are studying the challenges faced by people with mental disorders in accessing housing due to the tense rental market in Paris and the Ile-de-France region. This research evaluates a supported housing system aimed at improving housing access for individuals enrolled in psychiatric care pathways. The study is sponsored by Centre Hospitalier St Anne and focuses on how housing difficulties impact psychiatric care consumption and quality of life. Participants in this study will undergo standardized assessments and questionnaires at the start, annually during follow-up visits, and upon leaving the supported housing program called DLAI. These assessments include measuring quality of life, clinical state, and level of functioning. The study involves people already receiving psychiatric care and benefiting from the DLAI housing support system. Participants will provide consent and sociodemographic information during an initial visit and then have yearly follow-up visits to track their progress. Researchers will review quality of life improvements and clinical condition over one year. The study continues until participants stop benefiting from the DLAI, at which point a final assessment is done. This ongoing monitoring helps understand the impact of supported housing on mental health outcomes.
