Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Receiving treatment in ordinary out-patient clinics
- Experienced or witnessed one or more extremely threatening or horrific traumatic events as defined by the Stressful Life Events Screening Questionnaire
- Presenting with posttraumatic reactions such as hyperarousal, avoidance, intrusions, emotional dysregulation, or interpersonal difficulties
- Symptoms have lasted at least six months
- Able to understand and speak Norwegian well enough to participate in group sessions
You will not qualify if you...
- Active psychotic symptoms
- Substance or drug addiction or abuse
- Considered high suicidal risk by the individual therapist
- Previous participation in this stabilization and skill-training course
