Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 50 years or older
- Self-reported subjective cognitive decline (such as forgetting information, getting lost, or repeating oneself)
- Able to identify at least one modifiable lifestyle risk factor for dementia to change during the program (e.g., physical inactivity, poor sleep, non-adherence to Mediterranean diet, alcohol use, tobacco use, social isolation or loneliness, mental inactivity)
- No significant cognitive impairment (Short Blessed Test score 9 or less)
- Self-reported proficiency in English reading and speaking
- Ability and willingness to participate and complete all study activities
You will not qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of dementia or other neurodegenerative disease by self-report
- Psychosis, uncontrolled schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, uncontrolled bipolar disorder, or uncontrolled substance dependence/abuse
- Active suicidal thoughts or high risk of suicide
- Serious medical illness expected to worsen during the study
- Self-reported safety concerns about starting lifestyle changes
