Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Between 18-80 years of age at informed consent signing
- Diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease within 10 years of informed consent signing
- Current or past gastrointestinal dysfunction or constipation based on screening
- Ability to understand and provide written informed consent
- Ability to speak, read, and understand Dutch well enough to complete study assessments
You will not qualify if you...
- Any significant gastrointestinal disorder such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, or lactose intolerance
- Recent significant gastrointestinal infection within the past 3 months
- Major gastrointestinal surgery (excluding appendectomy or gallbladder removal) deemed significant by the investigator
- Any significant current or past eating disorder
- Use of systemic antibiotics within 6 months before enrollment
