Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 22 years or older
- Currently receiving preoperative care or assessment for disc herniation surgery
- No history of cardiovascular disease except controlled hypertension
- Willing to wear the smartwatch for a minimum of 8 consecutive hours during the night before surgery
- Able to follow smartwatch instructions and operate it independently
- No known allergy to nickel
You will not qualify if you...
- Currently taking prescribed medication for sleep in a clinical setting
- Unwilling to participate in the study
- Fails to wear the smartwatch correctly or as instructed, resulting in incomplete or unreliable data
