TIMELY-PrdiktoR Study on Cardiac Rehabilitation Outcomes in Adults with Coronary Artery Disease

Researchers are studying cardiac rehabilitation CR for patients with coronary artery disease CAD who have experienced events like heart attacks or undergone procedures such as angioplasty or bypass surgery. The goal is to understand how CR helps manage symptoms, improve long-term health, and reduce future heart and brain blood vessel problems. This study focuses on collecting detailed data to explore how various biological, psychological, and social factors affect recovery and success of CR, using advanced data analysis including artificial intelligence. Participants will undergo phase II CR, which is a structured program addressing heart disease and related conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity. Data collection includes controlled center-based CR activities and remote monitoring of physical activity, blood pressure, pulse wave analysis, and long-term heart rhythm monitoring for six months after discharge. Follow-ups are scheduled at 6 and 12 months, and major heart and brain event data will be collected for up to 10 years. Throughout the study, participants will have multiple assessments measuring fitness, mortality risk, physical activity, heart rate, sleep, stress, blood pressure, body composition, muscle function, mental health, quality of life, and social and psychological factors at various times from the start through 48 weeks. The study aims to track adherence to healthy lifestyle changes and acceptance of eHealth tools. This long-term monitoring helps researchers identify factors that predict successful rehabilitation and better long-term outcomes.
