Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Isolated traumatic brain injury patients (mild or moderate cases)
- Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) greater than 8
- Non-penetrating traumatic brain injury within 8 hours of onset
- Age 18 years or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Patient in cardiac arrest
- Patients with coagulopathies
- Patients with renal failure
- Pregnancy
- Patient refusal to participate
