What this Trial Is About
Researchers are conducting a study to adapt and validate various health assessment scales for Albanian-speaking adults. These scales measure functions related to upper and lower limbs, pain, autonomy, depression, anxiety, and quality of life. The goal is to make these tools culturally appropriate and reliable for the Albanian population, evaluating psychometric properties such as stability and homogeneity. The study involves translating and back-translating multiple questionnaires, followed by review from an expert committee. The questionnaires include well-known scales for upper limbs like DASH and MAYO Elbow score, lower limbs like Oxford Hip Score, and various health and autonomy scales such as HADS and EQ-5D-5L. The validation process includes test-retest reliability assessments over 7 days for upper limbs, lower limbs, and health-related scales. Participants will complete these questionnaires, with data collected from about 300 individuals. Researchers will analyze responses to assess reliability and validity. The study includes adults aged 18 to 80 years with musculoskeletal pain or disorders and will monitor the consistency of the questionnaires' results. Participants' involvement includes completing the scales and providing data for analysis during the study period.
