Lipedema is a chronic condition mainly affecting women, characterized by abnormal fat buildup in the lower limbs. Researchers are evaluating the Turkish version of the Rapprich Lipedema Symptomatic Assessment Questionnaire, originally developed in 2010, to provide a reliable and standardized tool for assessing symptom severity in Turkish-speaking lipedema patients. This cross-sectional study includes 180 women diagnosed with lipedema at different stages I, II, and III. Participants will be grouped by lipedema stage and assessed through various methods including demographic data collection, physical exams measuring waist-hip ratio, limb circumferences, and leg volume, as well as a 6-minute walk test to evaluate functional capacity. They will complete the 15-item Turkish Rapprich questionnaire and the SF-36 Health Survey to measure general health and quality of life. The study will analyze internal consistency, test-retest reliability over 14 days, and construct validity of the questionnaire. During the study, participants will undergo physical and functional assessments, complete questionnaires, and provide demographic information. Researchers will measure symptom severity, functional status, and quality of life, using statistical methods to validate the questionnaires reliability and validity. The total study duration for participants is brief, focusing on baseline and 14-day follow-up assessments to test consistency and correlation with health measures.
