Pituitary tumors represent a heterogeneous group of neoplasms by histotype. The pituitary adenomas are the most frequent heteroformation, among those affecting the pituitary gland, followed by meningiomas, craniopharyngiomas, germosomes and tumours secondary, such as metastases and lymphomas.
