Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Being 18 years of age or older
  • Having a chronic lung disease (COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease) and referred to the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Unit for physiotherapy and rehabilitation
  • Being clinically stable
  • Using a smartphone with a pedometer
  • Willing to cooperate with tests
  • Willing to participate in the study
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Having had an acute exacerbation or medication change in the last month
  • Having a severe cardiovascular, orthopedic, or neurological problem that may affect the tests

Screening

Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial.

Diagnostic Evaluation

Duration - 1 day

Participants complete assessments including cognitive, anxiety and depression, quality of life, health literacy, physical activity, respiratory function, body mass index, disease-related symptoms, socio-economic status, education level, dyspnea, and comorbidity.

Long-term Monitoring

Duration - 1 week

Participants are monitored for environmental exposure including air temperature, humidity, wind speed, and air pollution levels relevant to their condition.
