What this Trial Is About
Researchers are evaluating a Work Support (WorkS) intervention aimed at helping people who have undergone allogeneic stem cell transplantation and are preparing to return to work. This study focuses on assessing the feasibility and acceptability of the WorkS program and study procedures. It also explores early effects on patients' confidence in returning to work, their employment status, quality of life, and financial challenges. Participants who received an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant within the past six months and have concerns about returning to work will take part in this single-group study. The WorkS intervention involves two structured sessions within two months, starting about six months after the transplant. These sessions help identify work-related challenges, connect participants to supportive resources, and facilitate communication with employers to arrange necessary work modifications. The study lasts about six months per participant, including baseline assessments soon after enrollment, the two WorkS sessions, and exit assessments shortly after the last session. A final follow-up on work status is done at 12 months post-transplant. Researchers will track rates of screening, eligibility, enrollment, intervention completion, and assessments. They will also evaluate work status, financial concerns, quality of life, and return-to-work confidence to understand the intervention's impact.
