What this Trial Is About

Depressive disorders are common among children and adolescents but often go unnoticed and untreated for a long time. School-related stress, such as bullying or high expectations, plays a key role in developing these disorders. To address this, the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at LMU Munich and the Beisheim Foundation launched the digital platform "ich bin alles @Schule" in November 2023, offering educational professionals accessible information on depression and mental health in schools. This observational study evaluates the natural user experience and acceptance of the "ich bin alles @Schule" website. The study uses an online questionnaire and the web analysis tool Matomo to gather data over two years. The goal is to assess whether the platform reaches its intended users and serves as a useful and trustworthy source of mental health information in the school context. Participants' involvement includes using the website for at least 40 seconds, after which their characteristics, perception of content, website usability, visual appeal, intention to revisit, and overall impression are recorded. Data collection continues through Matomo over two years from the website launch until study completion. These findings will help optimize the platform and guide future mental health information efforts for educational professionals.
