Study of Walking Patterns in Adults Aged 18 to 65 With Multiple Sclerosis or Healthy Adults

Researchers are investigating specific walking patterns that show the quality of gait in people living with Multiple Sclerosis MS, aiming to better understand how the disease affects movement. The study includes both individuals with MS and healthy adults to compare differences in walking characteristics. The main focus is to describe how people with MS walk in a controlled environment across different levels of disease severity. Participants include people with MS who meet certain criteria, such as having a confirmed diagnosis and stable treatment, as well as healthy volunteers. Each participant will undergo assessments of their walking patterns without any experimental treatments since this is an observational study. The study spans a scheduled period starting from March 2026 and runs until June 2026. During the study, participants will take part in various procedures designed to evaluate their gait and movement quality. Researchers will collect data on walking patterns, ensuring participants follow the study protocol and attend follow-up visits. The primary outcome measured is the detailed description of ambulation patterns in people with MS compared to healthy adults. Safety and compliance will be monitored throughout the study duration.
