This observational cohort study focuses on patients with recurrent acute pancreatitis, a condition characterized by two or more separate episodes of acute pancreatitis. The research aims to understand the causes, natural progression, treatment effects, and outcomes for these patients. It seeks to determine whether endoscopic intervention, surgery, or conservative treatment can reduce the recurrence of acute pancreatitis and to identify risk factors influencing recurrence. Participants will receive different treatment approaches including endoscopic intervention, surgery, or conservative management. Personal and treatment information will be collected over the course of the study. The study observes patients closely to track their clinical information and outcomes without assigning specific treatments. During the study, researchers will monitor recurrence rates of acute pancreatitis for an average of one year. They will also assess the proportion of patients receiving different treatments, pain levels, development of chronic pancreatitis, quality of life, and psychological conditions over up to three years. Participants will undergo regular evaluations as part of this long-term follow-up to better understand the disease and treatment impacts.
