What this Trial Is About
This research aims to explore the use of optical coherence tomography (OCT) scans to analyze inflammation in the front part of the eye, specifically in people with uveitis. The study is observational, meaning it observes and collects data without testing a new treatment. It investigates whether OCT can effectively image and grade the level of inflammation in eyes with both active and inactive uveitis. Participants will have OCT scans taken of the anterior chamber of their eyes to capture detailed images of inflammation. The study does not involve any treatment or intervention but focuses on gathering imaging data. This approach helps determine if OCT can be a reliable tool for assessing eye inflammation. During the study, participants will undergo the OCT imaging process, and researchers will evaluate these images to measure the degree of inflammation. The main outcome is to objectively assess inflammation levels over one year. Participants may also be asked about their ability to provide informed consent. The study is conducted over several years, allowing careful observation of inflammation patterns in uveitis.
